I don’t think I’ve every really mentioned my work in this blog. That isn’t for any particular reason, it just wasn’t something I felt any need to talk about.
I’m going to mention it now because I just changed jobs recently. After working for Kestral Computing for 17 years, 10 months, and 3 days, last Monday (the 7th of October) I started work at Communicare, a Telstra Health subsidiary. Obviously I don’t change jobs often :).
Today was my 8th day at the new job and the first sprint planning that I’ve been involved with. It was interesting, even if it’s too early for me to contribute much. It’s been a nice change of pace being in a team where an agile process is followed, and I think it’s going to be something I like, thought realistically it’s too early to make that call.
I’m not sure how often I’ll update on the work scenario, but I felt like it was worth mentioning today.
